Welcome to the Vaalimaa Camping website!

Campsite in the middle of beautiful nature on Virolahti.

Vaalimaa Camping campsite is located in the municipality of Virolahti, southeastern Finland. Distance to the Vaalimaa border crossing point Russia is about 6 kilometers. The area is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland and our coastline is 200 meters long. The beach is shallow with a sandy bottom and well-suited for children. The area is small, peaceful and especially popular with caravanners.

The closest village is Virojoki where you can find grocery store, post office and pharmacy. The distance to the closest city called Hamina is about 30 kilometers.

There is an outdoor playground for children with a swing, sandbox and slide in the camping area. There is also a volleyball court waiting for your games. Various outdoor games such as Mölkky and croquet can be borrowed by asking from kiosk.

Caravan accommodations is possible all year round.

Cabins 6, 7 and 8, are available all year round.

Cabin accommodation

The campsite has a variety of accommodation options. There are cabins that are available year-round and also cabins that are available only from May to September.

Caravan area

There are 45 electric recreational vehicle points situated in different locations of the campsite. Choose the place for your caravan that suits you best!

Camping area

There are tent pitches all around the campsite. You can pitch your tent in a sheltered spot near by the kiosk or enjoy the proximity of the sea right on the shore.

Saunas

The campsite has two saunas available for booking. The smaller sauna is well suited for families and the larger sauna can be booked for larger groups.

At our kiosk you will find a changing selection of food as well as a small savoury and sweet for every taste such as burgers, fries with sausage, fresh buns, soft drinks, sweets and of course ice cream.
